If its the M it will be an SP SP50 for motorways. You can look up your license online if it has updated. It's SP I have only ever had SP30s on my license and only up to 3 at a time that will surely change but test quotes have shown they've not made any difference at all.
I have a friend who's recently climbed through 3, 6 and then to 9 points all SP30 and barely had his premium change. He is with Noel Dazely, as am I, and they have stated to me over the phone that SP30's in almost any number make little difference to the premiums quoted by their panel of insurers ensign in this case.
